
There are several opportunities to become involved in the music at St. Elizabeth Seton
The Folk Choir rehearses every Wednesday Evening at 7:30 pm and sings at the 9:30 am Sunday Mass. Music performed is of a contemporary and folk genre. In addition, this group sings at confirmation, Christmas and other Holy Days of obligation. Contact Christopher Haines, Director for more information.
The Adult Choir rehearses from 7 - 9 pm on Thursday evenings and sing at the 11:30 am Sunday Mass. This groups sings a variety of styles, from classical to contemporary. Voices - soprano, alto, tenor and bass ages high school and up are always wanted! This group sings at confirmation, First Communion, Christmas Midnight Mass as well as, other Holy Days of Obligation. Youth Choir
Will sing once a month at the 9:30 am Mass. Open to all children in grades 4 - 8. We need at least 10 children to start this choir!
This handbell group is comprised of musicians of high school age and older. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 7:30 - 9 PM. Performances for the 2007 - 2008 year are planned for once per month and Advent, Christmas and Easter. Contact Catherine Larson , Director for more information.
An integral part of Sunday worship. Leading the congregation in proclaiming Gods word through song, cantors should be musicians who have a pleasant singing voice and are not timid about leading the congregation in the responsorial psalm, alleluia and hymns. This group is for vocalists who enjoy singing, but do not want to make the commitment of singing every Sunday. At present we are rehearsing for Christmas - concert and Midnight Mass.
